8:20am Goals and organization: Presentation - Scheffe

  1. Review summit purpose and objectives
  2. Review summit goals. By the end of the summit participants will have:
    1. Learned about the universe of air quality (AQ) data systems and data processing centers.
    2. Worked in small groups to articulate and document the key non-technical challenges and aspirations in using AQ data for public health & ecological assessments; AQ forecasting and reanalysis for assessment; model/emissions evaluation; and AQ characterization for trends and accountability.
    3. Used the known key non-technical challenges and aspirations to identify broad attributes and functions of the desired system.
    4. Worked to identify potential solutions for technical implementation of the desired system.
    5. Identified a community-wide strategy to continue dialogue and work towards the desired system.

8:30am Inventory of Data Systems (8-10min. ea.) - Dimmick

'Session Objective:' Each Presenter Will Address:

  1. Summary description of Data System and Usage
    1. Data types and spatial, temporal and compositional attributes
    2. Primary User and/or supplier groups
    3. Connections to other Systems
    4. Primary Storage
  2. Planned enhancements/data system trajectory
  3. Data System Gaps

9:45am Group Discussion and Q & A - All
