The Long Hot Summer of 2012

Come one, come all, to experiment with science collaboration using the RAMADDA tool.

We'll be collecting data, information and other resources related to the "hot" topics this summer, including:

  1. the derecho of June 29
  2. the fires in Colorado in June and July
  3. the drought in Kansas
  4. the heat waves of May / June / July (take your pick!)
  5. effects on agriculture

When??? Friday, July 20, 8:30-10:00 Who Can Participate? Anyone! Just send an email to christopher.s.lynnes@nasa.gov, hook.hua@jpl.nasa.gov or emily.s.law@jpl.nasa.gov to get an account. Ideally beforehand What Do I Need? Just a laptop! (Maybe even an iPad, still needs some testing...) Bring data resources (as URLs or files) if you have 'em. If not, we'll set you up with some suggestions.
