ESIP Federation Involvement
My involvement started with my work at the University of Wisconsin Space Science & Engineering Center ( SSEC), the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies ( CIMSS), and a general interest in Earth Science. I originally started working with ESIP through the Satellite Observations in Science Education ( SOSE) NASA REASoN project.
Expertise
Sun Certified Java Programmer and Java Web Component Developer. Experience building servlet-based websites and satellite data ingest systems. Current Chair of ESIP Geospatial Cluster. Currently a graduate student in the University of Wisconsin's Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, where I am in the MS program for Environment and Resources, Remote Sensing emphasis.
Hobbies
Avid collector and founder of Nostomania.com, which generates the only pricing data for comic books and coins based entirely on actual sales. Musician for fun, having played at times in The Wickershams, and in Spank.
