I am employed by the Sevilleta Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Program and the UNM Sevilleta Field Station within the UNM Department of Biology. My primary job roles include (1) UNIX (Solaris) server administration (i.e., all things IT); (2) the design, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale remote outdoor wireless networks for the real-time acquisition of environmental sensor data; and (3) lead sensor field technician for the Collins Lab, which maintains several heavily instrumented long-term climate change manipulation experiments. Overall, the integration of technology with ecological field research is my professional specialty and passion. For further information and updates about my research activities, feel free to follow me on Research Gate.
