Dr. Line Pouchard has been leading various efforts implementing semantics and information systems for Earth and Environmental sciences and for High Performance Computing at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since 1999. She is currently developing a semantic search interface for the ORNL DAAC, a NASA-supported data center for terrestrial ecology and biogeochemical processes and recently co-chaired and co-organized the Linked Science workshop at the International Semantic Web Conference in Germany (ISWC 2011). She initiated and led the DataONE Integration and Semantics Working Group. She has been a member of the DoD-sponsored Extreme Scale Systems Center at ORNL since 2008. Her activities in this project have focused on metadata and data analytics for computer system health, including Jaguar (Cray XT5) from the Oak Ridge National Leadership Facility in computing.
