Cisco/Duke show the push-to-talk microphones that allow questions in the room to be heard.
- Microphones:
- One array microphone that tracks voice - could connect to the computer and be part of telecon. Tracks to whoever is speaking whereever they are in the room.
- RVS 1130 Push to Talk Student Microphone
- Condenser microphones
- 2 Cameras with tripods - one to focus on boards and one for people talking.
- Logitech Webcam with stand
- Flexicam - good in dark rooms and has it's own stand
- Tandberg C20 High Def camera
- Creative live cam voice - one benefit is good mic built in.
- WebEx
- Portable Digital Board Capturing System - Lightweight, portable receiver kit connects to any whiteboard, easel surface or flipchart pad to make it electronic. Easily preserve information by saving, printing or beaming it to a PDA (sold separately) so all meeting participants walk away with the same notes at the touch of a button.
- Ebeam digital capture for whiteboards
- Digital Pen & Scribe - Digital Scribe is the first device ever to capture natural handwriting from any surface, and store it directly onto your computer.
things to think about -
- Need to try different room set-up so that face-to-face participants are closer to mics
- Test web cam in different lighting conditions
- encourage to mute while not talking
- upload files instead of desk/screen share.
