      • Shelley Olds presented our draft eBook of drone activities http://bit.ly/esiped-drones in sessions at two regional National Science Teacher conferences.
      • We launched an effort to test and refine activities in the draft eBook. Survey is available at http://bit.ly/esiped-feedback.
      • Accepted budget revisions suggested by FiComm and secured an approved budget.
      • Planning for a regular Webinar series of tool demos that will be archived for educators.

    • Type I (Bob): 11/18 telecon with Michael Witt and Shelley Stahl about how repositories are defined/classified, and how community-specific registries (ESIP, CDF, COPDESS, etc) could be integrated with the RE3data.org global directory. Discussion will continue at ESIP Winter Meeting/CDF Assembly in January.

    • “How to talk about ESIP” ideas and how to grow ESIP ambassadors
    • How to document ESIP success stories - there is a technical and programmatic effort. As easy as tagging posts with #esipfed or some other hashtag, but then what do we do all the tagged content, where do we consolidate that, is that how we want to proceed with capturing success stories - let's think about this
      • NOAA has some existing framework resources on this, EarthCube is also using NOAA's work on this.
