Description of ESIP President's Role

The President of ESIP presides over the Assembly and may also serve as Chair of the Program Committee. The President works closely with the Vice President, Executive Director, and other staff to publicly represent ESIP with sponsors and other outside organizations. The President must be a Voting Representative to the Assembly and must be from a different ESIP Type than the Vice President.

The President typically spends about 2 hours/week on ESIP business. The President typically attends the ESIP Winter and Summer meetings. The President participates in regular leadership planning calls (~ every month). The Program Committee meets one hour/month.
