In 2023, NASA invited the Astrophysics Data System (ADS) to expand it's focus into the Earth sciences, heliophysics, planetary science, biological sciences, and physical sciences, giving rise to the digital library portal known as NASA Science Explorer (SciX). Crafted to be as invaluable to Earth science as ADS is to astrophysics, SciX efficiently cross-links diverse bibliographic and data sources, fostering inclusivity and comprehensive scientific exploration. Offering researchers unparalleled access to a wealth of knowledge, SciX actively embraces Open Science principles, indexing NASA's PubSpace, Earth Science journals, preprints, meeting abstracts, theses, data sets, software, and more. Beyond being a comprehensive library resource, SciX empowers researchers with advanced citation metrics and data visualizations to pinpoint potential collaborators, establishing itself as a dynamic resource capable of supporting accessible and collaborative scientific research across all NASA science mission directorate areas.

East Tennessee State University's Center for Rural Health Research and Department of Geosciences are dedicated to promoting geosciences as a unifying interdisciplinary science, focusing on the earth and societal and health challenges and opportunities through education and research.
