Minutes 11/19 Products and Services Telecon

GCMD
- Tyler reported a significant spike in the use of the GCMD-ESIP Portal following prominent placement of Portal links on the new Federation Home Page.
Winter Meeting
- Tyler will present a 1.5 hour session on authoring DIF/SERF entries, to be held on the first afternoon of the Meeting. It will follow the ESIP 101 session (if offered). GCMD will have a poster at the poster session.
- Erin will look into creating a poster that describes the 121 Federation members, using the content currently available on the web site (a summary paragraph and logo for each). This poster could be divided into three separate panels corresponding to the three ESIP types. Preferably, the poster will be left up all week. We will try to have someone in front of this poster during Meeting breaks to get members to register their expert skills.
- Phil will coordinate a cloud computing session co-sponsored by the Information Technology & Interoperability Committee. It will include a Panel that highlights agency experiences and opportunities. This session will be held on the 2nd or 3rd day, depending on speaker availability.
