Several of us have discussed submitting a proposal on '''Geospatial Semantic Web Services''' to the NSF INTEROP call, due July 23.  This proposal will support a combination of community collaboration and technology development. The team will include: ESIP Federation, OGC, UCGIS, ACM-SIGSpatial, and the Association of American Geographers. This session will discuss what the Federation would like to get out of this participation.

Several of us have discussed submitting a proposal on Geospatial Semantic Web Services to the NSF INTEROP call, due July 23. This proposal will seek community collaboration and technology development in support of geospatial dynamics. The team will include the following organizations: ESIP Federation, OGC, UCGIS, ACM-SIGSpatial, and the Association of American Geographers. This session will discuss the role of the Federation in this activity.
