Discussion
The group reviewed the goals of this activity, as stated on the wiki, and agreed that they captured the spirit of the activity.
We also reconfirmed the list of data sets to be used (also on the wiki.
Lastly, after considerable and rather heated discussion of the identifier schemes to be tested, the group agreed on testing:
- DOI
- PURL
- UUID
- OID
- ARK
- XRI (presuming it is still deemed worthwhile after further study)
There was insufficient time thereafter to begin the discussion of the next steps.
