The CFP describes 3 types of projects:
- Type I projects are for organizations with limited or no experience in applying
Earth observations to decision making.
- Type II projects are for organizations that have some experience applying Earth
observations to decision making and need some assistance with new types of Earth observations, such as new data products or model predictions, to incorporate in their applications.
- Type III projects are for organizations that have successfully applied Earth
observations to their decision making and want to demonstrate and share their application with other organizations.
