ESIP is currently made up of ~140 members, all of which are organizations that are involved in various aspects of the global Earth and Space Science research enterprise. Identifying these organizations persistently and consistently is an important step towards connecting them into the growing body of Earth Science scholarly communication and knowledge. An initial step towards this goal is to search for organizational identifiers using the affiliations in the ESIP membership list as input. The results of such a search carried out during December 2019 are described here.
