Foundation for Earth Science Development Committee

Membership: 3 Board members, Executive Director (ex officio)

Chair: Elected by Full Board

Committee Mission: The Foundation for Earth Science’s Development Committee will identify and cultivate new sources of funding for priorities identified in consultation with the ESIP Federation’s Executive Committee.

Committee Objectives:

1. Focus on a broad range of fundraising and outreach efforts including: grants, cooperative agreements, partnerships, contracts, planned giving programs and individual and corporate financial support.
2. Develop and implements a annual fundraising plan consistent with the ESIP Federation’s strategic plan and ESIP Federation-identified priority activities.
3. Develop an evolving capacity for fundraising, including identification of new Board members.
4. Promote public awareness by seeking cultivation opportunities.
