Data Discovery (UMM-Granule)

The Unified Metadata Model Granule Profile (UMM-Granule) is a NASA recommendation for describing Granule Metadata in NASA's Common Metadata Repository (CMR). This profile includes the concepts that NASA considers important for describing granule datasets. The recommendation includes three levels; Required, Recommended and Optional. The tables below show the concepts included in each level, and the concept mapping for NASA granule metadata dialects (ISO 19115, ISO 19115-1 and ECHO).
