The Unified Metadata Model Collection Profile (UMM-Collection) is a NASA recommendation for describing Collection Metadata in NASA's Common Metadata Repository (CMR). This profile includes the concepts that NASA considers important for describing collection level data sets. The recommendation includes three levels; Required, Recommended and Optional. The tables below show the concepts included in each level, and the concept mapping for NASA granule metadata dialects (ISO 19115, ISO 19115-1, ECHO, DIF-10 and DIF).
