Description of Governance Committee from the ESIP Policies & Procedures

Governance Committee Chair

The Chair of the Governance Committee serves as a member of the ESIP Board and Program Committee. The Chair also convenes Governance Committee meetings to consider matters affective governance of the ESIP Federation. The Chair of the C&B Committee spends approximately 2 hours/month on ESIP business.

Specific duties include:

Understand the governing documents of ESIP
Manage, with the Governance Committee, the board's review of and action related to the board's governing responsibilities
