BAMS is partnering w/ DATAFED [1] as part a grant funded under the NASA Air Quality Applications program. The project seeks to demonstrate the potential for assimilating satellite-based retrievals of atmospheric constituents into operational air quality forecast decision support systems. To facilitate decision support, we are developing the ability to provide GEOSS-compatible model output results using WMS/WCS services. This demonstration will showcase one or more examples of how air quality forecast guidance information from our DSS may be provided to GEOSS-based datastreams in the future.
