JGregory: UDUNITS used for CF
It doesn't matter to CF what units are used, so long as they are udunits. Any dimensionally equivalent unit can be used for a given standard name. --JonathanGregory 16:51, 22 May 2006 (EDT)

......RHusar: Units page added to Wiki
::This is a good reminder that in addition to updating the CF standard names, we also have to check to make sure that the list of units in UDUNITS includes the units used to measure chemical/aerosol entities. We should make another wiki page specifically to deal with the units. In fact, that units page has been added (a placeholder). This page is the discussion attached to the units page. An additional section for units has been added in the main page.--Rhusar 19:27, 22 May 2006 (EDT)

......CTextor: Units page integrated as a subtopic to name definition
