Data interoperability "Virtual" Workshops
- Action Item - John White volunteered for Airnow to pilot the idea and will give a presentation?? on next call to see if this is what the group had in mind. See also J White: Airnow & GEOSS in EarthZine.
- AIRNow
  - REST services: xml, csv, kml, json, netCDF
  - OGC WCS for point data, returns AQI surrogate data
  - OGC WCS for point, time-point, and grid
  - Issues/questions:
    - web services require authentication (using API key)
    - payload options and formats (netCDF is evolving)
    - need to make things uniform

- Is it still true that the focus of Data Interoperability Virtual Workshop...?!
  - Exposing existing services by multiple providers,
  - Comparing, identifying differences, reconciling implementations
  - Agreeing on 'AQ Community' conventions that harmonize interop standard services

- Action items from Feb 5:
  - Set up Data interoperability "Virtual" Workshops wiki
  - Feb19: Airnow service demo, with contnet on the wiki (which? where?)
  - Contact views for participation
