Description of ESIP Federation President's Role
The President of the ESIP Federation presides over the elected Assembly and also serves as Chair of the Executive Committee. The President works closely with the Vice President, Foundation executive director and virtual community/ outreach coordinator to publicly represent the ESIP Federation with sponsors and other outside organizations. The President must be a Voting Representative to the Assembly and must be from a different ESIP Type than the Vice President.
The President typically spends about 2 hours/week on ESIP Federation business. The President typically attends the Winter and Summer Federation meetings. The President participates in regular leadership planning calls (~ every month). The Executive Committee meets one hour/month.
