What Do We Do?

• Make the ESC cluster aware of programs that might aid / inform ESC development
• Strategize how the ESC Cluster works with external programs
  • Agencies (e.g., NSF, NASA, NOAA, EPA, USGS, DOE, etc.
  • Foundations (e.g., Moore Foundation)
  • Consortia (e.g., OGC)
• Articulate programmatic benefits of ESC

How Do We Do It?

• Track and promulgate useful solicitations
• Network with agency program managers
• Develop "upreach" strategy
  • Reformulate benefits in program-relevant terms (e.g., ROI, reduced risk, etc.)
