Workshop in a nutshell
What is the GEO Air Quality CoP? It is a self-organized voluntary group that fosters the application of Earth observations to air quality management and science.
What is the theme of the workshop? Technical realization of the Air quality Data Network (ADN) for sharing observations and models.
Why the ADN network? ADN could be a non-intrusive infrastructure for Data Portals, Decision Support Systems, Science Teams and other Initiatives.
Who are the workshop participants? They are data system practitioners and managers affiliated with air quality data hubs in Europe and North America.
What will be topics of discussion? Assessing the state of ADN including key impediments, co-development of data server software and tools, share best practices.
What is the anticipated outcome? Higher level of understanding, trust and concrete steps toward turning the ADN from virtual to real.
