Summary
- see discussion on compiling summary and creating plan
- Presentation to Open Geospatial Consortium EONRE Workgroup
Workshop
A workshop to bring together satellite product scientists, IT folks, and application end users to:
- work on creating end-to-end connections from data/algorithm creator, to data provider, to mediator, and end user.
- clarify appropriate application and interpretation of the NO2 products
- define key assumptions, restrictions, caveats, etc. that would need to be captured (ala data lineage)
- identify the gaps between what is being provided and what is needed
- determine what can be done on each step (by scientists, IT, and end users) to build better applications.
Objectives are to address immediate term activities (November interoperability demos) and mid-term activities (coordination among scientists, IT and users in application of satellite/surface data for AQ research and management).
Showcases of Interoperability Connections (demos)
- NO2 portal network (Lindsay)
- Weekly and seasonal spatial-temporal analysis of OMI NO2
