The course is intended for air quality managers and members of academia  interested in air quality analyses and assessments. Capacity building in this area will improve decision making and more effective control measures.

First day is devoted to technical topics and to provide attendees with practical, "take home" tools and methods including case studies: Air quality data sources, analyses tools and methods; Spatial and temporal patterns; Integration of multi-sensory data and models for India. The second day will start with a higher level discussions involving India Pollution Control Board leaders, and delegates from other countries. A panel discussion will be a forum to highlight the outstanding needs in air quality analyses for effective control measures. In response to these needs, action items will include charting a three year calendar for collaborative education and research.
