Getting into the Pool
- Creating Data Access Services
- Creating metadata that allows data to be found and accessed
- Add metadata to Community Catalog
What is the Pool?
- Components - Community Catalog, GEOSS Service and Component Registry, GEOSS Clearinghouse
- Community Catalog is a Web Accessible Folder
- Community Catalog is registered as a component and catalog service in the GEOSS Component/Service Registry
- GEOSS Clearinghouse searches for Catalog services
- GEOSS harvests the metadata records from the catalogs (also harvests all records from GEOSS Component Service Registry) - EVERYTHING IN GEOSS CSR and ALL CATALOGS found in Clearinghouse
