World Ocean Atlas (WOA) Data Viewer

This data visualization tool puts all of the WOA 1998 data and a
custom viewer onto one CD-ROM. NOAA's WOA data include a variety of
ocean chemistry and temperature data as climatologies. Students can
explore these data to learn about the range of conditions across the
Earth's oceans. They can also learn about data visualization by
exploring dozens of different color schemes that tend to reveal or
conceal information. The WOA viewer CD-ROMs are free for teachers to
use and copy.
