Denise Hills

Denise Hills is a research geologist and geophysicist, with interests in petroleum reservoir characterization for reserve estimates as well as carbon sequestration and enhanced recovery projects. Her work has also included projects on alternative energy investigations, such as enhanced geothermal systems. Denise has an active interest in data curation and preservation, with a focus on preserving legacy data in the digital age. She aims to be a science communicator and ambassador, encouraging the public to engage with scientific inquiry.

Denise is actively involved with the community, holding leadership roles in PTA, Boys Scouts, and Girl Scouts. Her title when she speaks on community panels is often along the lines of "Educational Advocate and General Rabble-Rouser" as she has become known for speaking up for all students, regardless of age or background.
