Hey Joe, I posted the minutes to the Subcommittee page (new section for telecon). For consistency, should we do the telecons for this group the same way? Have an agenda page and then move the minutes once the call is over?

Nick, In response to Erin's question, it's your call. As a small subset of the overall data summit, I would just include the interoperability subcommittee in with the main CAQDS page, rather than start a new section. Otherwise, for the causal user, all of the pages might get confusing. I think that you see the interoperability activity as more limited and shorter than the overall summit activity. You may also want to discuss this on the conference call this Wednesday.

Joe and Erin, Thanks much. Actually, for the interoperability group, I'd like to move away from the announcement/minutes posting model. I think the smaller group is more focused on making decisions and gathering information. To this end, I think it would be better to just have one living document (or one "table of contents" page that links to several living documents) that is continually updated by information from meetings and not from meetings. I was going to take a stab at setting that up, but if Erin want to volunteer to give me a head start, that would be much appreciated. I envisioned the table of contents for that page to be the headings in the minutes.

The problem that I see with the agenda/minutes structure is that you have to read through ALL of the minutes to get up to speed. I'd rather have a document that reflects the current collective wisdom. Seems much more wiki-ish to me.

Hi Nick, I think this sounds like a good plan for the subcommittee. There is already a Subcommittee on Interoperability page set up pretty much in the way you described with initial key points Rudy suggested. This page links from the main Community Air Quality Data System Workspace page. Update the page as you think it needs it and if you have any wiki trouble, I can help as needed with tech support.
