Possible GCMD role
1. Collection Level Metadata Repository
- The GCMD collection has been the "official" collection of descriptions of ESIP products and services.
- We need to improve the way we work with GCMD to get better compliance from all of our Partners.
- It will be useful to use the GCMD process to evolve the keywords to meet all of our needs including sensors, observations, web services, decision tools, and educational products.
2. Collaboration Center
- GCMD has provided a "collaboration" page that allows us to find Partners who link well to new profits.
