Ideas: • Small ESIP team to build an educational tool/product o Drought module be already be done – see Tamara • Research o Leverage ESIP as a mouthpiece for coordination Feed the RFP process? o May be an appropriate topic for the winter Washington ESIP meeting • Going from small (pilot) scale to larger scale (national/global) o NASA is currently in a call for requirements stage – get them NIDIS satellite requirements o Don’t oversell satellite capabilities • Satellite data in general o Problem with verification and lack of in situ data
