Over the past several months a number of Federation members have formed a Client Applications Working Group as part of the Information Technology and Interoperability Committee. We have begun collecting our knowledge and experiences relating to different client applications and their support for a variety of data formats and standard services. A matrix and associated notes for this growing knowledge collection can be found at [[1]].
This session will provide a series of short (10-20 minute) presentations that summarize the different client application experiences captured in the matrix. We hope to finish with a client application cage match in which we set up multiple laptops with different clients accessing the same services, as a demonstration of the different implementations of support for some standard service interfaces.
