I have served on ESIP’s Finance and Appropriations Committee for the past two years. During that time, under Bill Teng’s able leadership, FiCom has worked with Erin to refine and document the proposal review process and timeline for annual budget requests from ESIP committees and working groups, travel funding for guest speakers at ESIP meetings, and other special projects. I am honored to be nominated to serve as committee chair, and if elected will continue to help with stewardship of ESIP resources following the processes we have set up together.
I’ve been involved with ESIP since the early days of the organization, helping lead the Interoperability Committee (now IT&I) between 1999 and 2002. I have enjoyed seeing the organization flourish over the years, and look forward to continued involvement in its success.
