ESIP Commons Governance Working Group

Initial Proposal for moving forward with defining a governance model for content management within the ESIP Commons

1. Create a working group to define baseline set of Commons document requirements, upon which document collection teams can build for their particular collection
2. Consider a model where there is a high-level "steering committee" for the Commons with much of the "on the ground" document collection management/workflow being handled by teams associated with each collection, for which there are published requirements/guidelines, and procedures.
